Elly’s first book “A Kids Book About ADHD” is available now for purchase through www.akidsco.com or www.amazon.com.

Hi! I’m Elly.

My ADHD diagnosis was a hugely positive experience for me - not to mention a relief! Most of the laundry list of what I perceived as character flaws turned out to be symptoms of ADHD! So I let go of the guilt, shame, confusion, and disappointment in myself that I’d been carrying around for years, and started to feel more confident, empowered, and inspired.

I have heard a lot of people share that receiving their diagnosis was not so positive, that they grappled with this thing that was ‘wrong’ with them.  Stories like this inspired me to write the book. I wanted to shine a light on the many positives that I see in ADHD, and how to harness these to identify and unleash those hidden superpowers!!!

I wrote “A Kids Book About ADHD” to help kids with ADHD to understand that despite the challenges they face, they are wonderful, smart humans with unique strengths and abilities. I hoped that by writing this book I could help kids with similar experiences to mine not only understand and accept themselves for who they are, but really embrace and value their uniqueness!

I also wanted to share with parents and caregivers all the wonderful ways they can support their kids, to guide them to harness their superpowers, and help them grow up to be confident, empowered, and inspired people.

What’s your superpower?!
